Privacy policy

The short version

You can use this site without an account, and we don’t ask you for any personal information. We don’t sell personal information. If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to see which pages are useful.

What’s collected

• Hosting logs. The site is hosted by Wix. Like any web host, Wix may process standard technical information when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver and secure the site. See Wix’s privacy policy.
• Your Drink Finder and Compare choices stay in your browser’s address bar so you can share a link. They aren’t sent to us or stored on a server.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: for example, which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are (city or country level), device and browser type, and how they found the site. Google Analytics sets cookies, so it only runs if you choose Accept in the cookie banner. If you choose Decline, no analytics cookies are set.

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Google processes analytics data under Google’s privacy policy. We don’t use advertising trackers. If we add ads or a newsletter, we’ll update this policy first.

Links to other sites

Pages link to brand sites, Open Food Facts and other websites, including Amazon through our affiliate links. Their privacy practices are their own. When you follow an Amazon link, Amazon may use cookies on its own site to credit the referral to us.

Children

This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
